Oh How Pinteresting
Another installment of Oh How Pinteresting!
Missed last week due to hubby and kiddos being sick:)

Sun - OFF Class
Mon - Pilates
Tues - PiYo
PiYo was a rockin' class that not only had great body moving music but intense planking. I have taken in the past Pilates and Yoga where the mood is tranquil and focus on movement. PiYo motivated me to stay in the groove with stretching following each core exercise.
Yoga mat and bare feet are a need. I wore my favorite college t-shirt "East Carolina Pirates" but will wear a fitted tank to the next class as shirt slipped down during downward facing positions. I could def feel my arms, abs, and legs after this fun fantastic workout!!
Three workouts in 7 days is not too bad considering the whole fam besides my self were under the weather. Looking forward to a busy busy week at the gym:)

Blue Monday

Never had my nails blue before and it is def growing on me.

High Five 4 Friday
Week has been extremely busy with sick lil kiddos and hubby in hospital. So this is my first installment of what is in my kitchen cabinet...AKA Snack Time!
1. Kind Bars are a fantastic protein bars that are all natural and filled with yummy fruit & nuts. Love, love, love!
2. Pirate Booty are aged white cheddar corn puffs. "Mom, this is what a pirate eats!" Cooper 3yrs. Kiddos love them:)
3. Carnation No Sugar Added Vanilla Breakfast Essential. Every morning I add this with a banana, frozen fruit and half cup Almond milk. Perfect start to my day!
4. Newman's Own Salsa is organic and hubby's fave.
5. Angie's Sweet & Salty Kettle Corn is my personal go to snack. Delicious!

Why I joined the Gym and gave up my iPhone!! Plus Weigh-In Wednesday
Can we get real for a second? I have three kiddos one girl Caroline 6mos, one boy Cooper 3yrs, & Taylor 20yrs my stepdaughter who is away at college.
Initially I thought, "When the New Year rolls around I will so get up at 4 am to get my workout on!"
How many times did that happen? = 0
What? Well a gym membership is not exactly in our budget for the Spring of 2013 = Taylor getting married:) Compromise was to give up my ohhhhh expensive brand new iPhone cost plus monthly plan.
The reality is that it is too easy to jump ship and go to the gym. The benefits out weigh the constant checking of Facebook status:) Where did we join the gym? YMCA of course!

Discounted programs such as swim lessons and soccer for ages starting at 3 years old make it perfect for my family.
Now on to the Good Stuff! Since I am joining the gym and have typically done my posting in the morning, I had to do a little reflecting. Decided to switch my weigh-ins to Wednesday to join some other lovely ladies during the week. Sometimes less is more = Post less yet have more meaty bloggy post. Sounds like a winner?
So here is to my new & first Weigh-In Wednesday!
